Before the surgery, our veterinarians will use the conclusions from the pre-surgical exam and the accompanying lab work to determine which methods and anesthesia to use during the operation. During a surgical procedure, you can expect our staff's complete attention when your pet is in our surgical suite. Throughout the entire procedure, your pet always has trained eyes on them, taking temperature, measuring blood pressure, monitoring the electrical conductivity of the heart, administering IV fluids, and monitoring anesthesia.
After all surgical procedures, we design pain management strategies specific to your pet's size, breed, and condition. Your surgical technician will go over specific discharge instructions regarding your pet’s care with you.
